The jurisdiction of the College of Arts, 人文学科, 和社会 & 行为科学课程委员会 (College of Arts, 人文学科, 和社会 & 行为科学ciCC) coincides with the area of responsibilities of the Dean of the College. The CAHSBSciCC shall recommend to the Dean policies on academic priorities, degree requirements and standards, and academic major requirements. The CAHSBSciCC shall recommend action on departmental initiatives concerning new 项目, 计划的变化, 加上, 修改, 重新编号, 或删除课程. 具体地说, its functions include the responsibility for reviewing, and acting upon curriculum 建议 from units within the College. The Chair is elected at the first meeting following elections.

Set the agenda for each meeting.
Notify departments or individuals who have submitted requests, 建议, or reports of the decision rendered, 委员会.

A quorum will consist of five (5) of the eight (8) voting members.

The officers' terms will be one year in duration beginning with the Committee's first meeting.

CAHSBSciCC will meet on the third Wednesday of each month during the academic year. Special meetings may be called by the chair if necessary.

修正案

Amendments to the structure and procedures of the Committee may be proposed at any meeting of the Committee and will be adopted if passed by a three-quarters vote of the membership present at the next meeting.

All department requests will come to the College of Arts, 人文学科, 和社会 & 行为科学课程委员会 (CAHSBSciCC).

Activities related to the following responsibilities must be presented to the College of Arts, 人文学科, 和社会 & 行为科学课程委员会 (CAHSBSciCC) for full review before submission to the university Academic Affairs Committee for its review.

The following activities require a review of the CAHSBSciCC:

The establishment 或删除课程 at the undergraduate level.
The 修改 of existing undergraduate courses including changes in numbering, 标题描述, 和先决条件.
The editorial 修改 of catalog descriptions of 项目.

Activities related to the following responsibilities must be presented to CAHSBSciCC for full review, and must be passed by vote, before submission to the university Academic Affairs Committee for its review and vote:

The establishment of all new 专业, 未成年人, 浓度, 项目, 选项, 跟踪, 集中, and any other systematic grouping of courses.
Changes in existing 专业, 未成年人, 浓度, 项目, 选项, 跟踪, 集中, and any other systematic grouping of courses.
Changes in the curriculum that have an impact on more than one department or program or that have staffing or fiscal implications.
Changes in the requirements for the granting of degrees.
Policy changes in standards for admission to individual 项目 in the College.
Articulation policies and new or proposed collaborative degree 项目.
The elimination of existing 专业, 未成年人, 浓度, and 项目.
